cos.mona.ut (Mona Sharif) is a French/Syrian/Egyptian visual artist.
Mona began her journey in graphic design and art direction but soon gravitated towards more hands-on creative expressions, often finding her best pieces emerge from unplanned explorations and happy accidents - her creations reflect a joyful, optimistic spirit.
'Wicked' is a series of collage artworks based on some of Hackney Wick's iconic street art, warehouses, and buildings. Using photos she took over the years and cutting out elements to create surreal worlds and stories, this project aims to leave memories of Hackney Wick before its full gentrification.
